The event takes place in as Friday Session in conjunction with public works.
Meet outside Bank Tube station, take the 'Cornhill North' exit and meet us on the square outside the Royal Exchange, corner of Threadneedle St. and Cornhill at 6.30pm for the first part of the event. Please bring your digital camera or camera phone with the downloading equipment.

The walks will be followed by a short talk at the public works studio (Northgate House, 2-8 Scrutton Street, London EC2A 4RT) at 8pm by artist Julia Myers.
All images will be assembled online and will allow visitors to wander through the City from behind their computer.

JORNADAS DE CREATIVIDAD SOCIAL EN CONFLICTOS URBANOS
Las Jornadas KRAX son un primer encuentro de iniciativas activas en barrios de distintas ciudades que atraviesan cambios urbanísticos.
Nos enfocamos en tres conflictos urbanos de Barcelona y en sus respuestas creativas (Plaça Lesseps, Barceloneta y Raval), e invitamos a grupos similares activos en otras ciudades (Sevilla, Tokyo, Bruselas, Mostar, Londres, Caracas, Málaga, Buenos Aires...).
Todas estas iniciativas aprenderán de sus diferentes formas de reflexión, organización y acción. El encuentro es un intercambio y diálogo sobre la importancia y la necesidad de la creatividad social en los procesos de transformación en la ciudad.
El programa de las Jornadas KRAX consiste en debates, talleres, presentaciones de las iniciativas invitadas, visitas guiadas en los barrios y encuentros con las iniciativas locales y un Centro de Documentación (la Zona KRAX) con el material compilado durante la investigación.
The KRAX Conference is the first meeting of different groups active in areas of various cities in the process of urban transformation. We focus on three urban conflicts in Barcelona and their creative answers (Plaça Lesseps, Barceloneta and Raval), and we invite similar groups in other cities (Seville, Tokyo, Brussels, Mostar, London, Caracas, Malaga, Buenos Aires…) to participate. These groups will learn of their experiences through reflection, organisation, and action. The meeting is an exchange and discussion about the importance and necessity of social creativity in the process of city transformation.
The itinerary for the KRAX Conference consists of debates, workshops, presentations given by the invited groups, guided visits of the areas, meetings with local civic groups, and the Documentation Center (the KRAX Zone), which contains the material gathered throughout the investigation.
